Meet the Team
Over 50 years of combined legal experience
David graduated law school from Arizona State University in 1975 and practiced in Utah until 1979.
He joined the Clark County Business License Department as a Sr. Management Analyst and worked in the Liquor and Gaming Licensing Board for 10 years.
In 1988 he began private practice in Las Vegas specializing in debt restructure and real property matters. As his practice grew, the areas of law included civil litigation, estate planning and probate, as well as real estate. In 2009 to the present he represents homeowners in home foreclosures matters including the Nevada Foreclosure Mediation Program. He also served as a mediator in the Chapter 13 federal bankruptcy mortgage modification mediation program. David is also fluent in Spanish as a lawful permanent resident of Mexico.
Troy graduated from Highschool, here in Las Vegas, from the Advanced Technologies Academy’s law program. After serving a 2-year mission in Argentina, he graduated from BYU with his Bachelor’s Degree. He went to law school here in Las Vegas, at the William S. Boyd School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate degree.
He began practice in a medium firm getting experience in various areas of law. In 2008, he began practicing in Bankruptcy Law, and joined David Crosby at what is now Crosby & Fox. Mr. Fox has been practicing in Bankruptcy ever since, representing clients before the Bankruptcy Court, Federal District Court, and even the 9th Circuit Bankruptcy Appellate Panel. He was also appointed to be a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee in 2019.
Mr. Fox also assists clients in Foreclosure Defense, including the Nevada Foreclosure Mediation Program. He has handled various Civil Litigation matters. And he has assisted clients through the complicated immigration process, where he focuses on family-based petitions. He has been married for over 15 years, and has 4 amazing children. Mr. Fox is also fluent in both English and Spanish.
Candy began with the firm in July of 2008 with over 30 years of legal experience. As office Manager and Paralegal, she handles many of the day-to-day operations of the firm. She is instrumental in assisting the attorneys with all legal matters including civil litigation, estate planning, probate, bankruptcy, and corporate filings with the Nevada Secretary of State. In both state and federal foreclosure mediation processes, she works one-on-one with clients to prepare paperwork for loan modification reviews, ensuring every client’s situation is accurate portrayed in the best light possible to ensure the greatest likelihood of success.
Miguel Martinez has worked with the firm since 2008 and has approximately 12 years of Bankruptcy experience working extensively with Spanish speaking clients. He also has been part of the Mediation/Modification team since 2009 when the Nevada Foreclosure Mediation Law went into effect and at the same time, he is in charge of the Immigration Department since 2016. His attention to detail and service clients is exemplary.
Miguel is a native of Tijuana B.C. Mexico, and in 2005 immigrated to the U.S. and establish his residence in the valley of Las Vegas, initiating a rapid integration to actively serve his new community.
Miguel Martinez is also a founder of Latino Business Services of Nevada (latinobusinessnv.com) since 2016, a company that provides additional support to the Latino community, by providing professional quality services in the areas of Taxation, Business Services, and Document Translations.
Amelina Delgado is a Paralegal with over ten years of experience working alongside the executive team of Crosby & Fox, LLC. Amelina specializes in bankruptcies Chapter 7’s & 13’s. She has also been part of the Mediation/Modification team. Amelina is a powerful force in the workplace with more than 10 years of paralegal experience. She is also a Notary public, a DMV certified translator and she also has her Real Estate license.
She is also a partner in Latino Business Services of Nevada, where she uses her expertise in Real Estate, Bankruptcy, Foreclosure Prevention, Mediation, Immigration, Corporate Services and Business & Personal tax preparation to assist the Latino community. Amelina is inspired daily by her husband and their two daughters. She was born in Mexicali B.C. Mexico. She came to Las Vegas when she was just 8 years old and has never left what she calls now her “hometown”.
